Excellent cartoon featuring clever story-line, Great animation and cute dogs. There are some plot-holes, and the print looks a little worn, But it's still worth downloading.

I have loved this cartoon since I was a little girl. But there's a few things that bug me. For one, if the dog's name was Princie, then why is the cartoon called Hector's Hectic Life? Second, what's with never showing the character's faces? We only saw the master's feet and her voice with the heavy Russian (or whatever) accent. And third, after Princie nailed the dog door shut, how did the pups get back inside? I love this cartoon, but that's been bugging me for a long time.

The Paramount/Famous cartoon studio (formerly the Fleischer studio) usually made some fine cartoons in the 1940s, as evidenced by many of the Popeye and Little Lulu films. That cannot be saud for this particular film. I didn't download it, but I've seen it before elsewhere.

Prince, a dog, is threatened with cold weather by itÃ?Â?s master if it does one stupid thing in the house, but, if itÃ?Â?s good, then the owner promises a surprise on Christmas morning! So this being a cartoon, you know whatÃ?Â?s liable to happen. ThatÃ?Â?s right, something or someone will arrive to make itÃ?Â?s life miserable! That something is 3 puppies, the similarities to Prince made me assume that their his, although thatÃ?Â?s never revealed in this) and they instantly cause havoc in the house. Prince sees to it that his master doesnÃ?Â?t discover the puppies causing this mess, and that makes for some pretty quick cleaning once the puppies, for example, make a mess out of the fishbowl.
This was amusing, the animators had some clever ideas on how the dog could get out of some quick call dilemmas. The only problem I had was with the instant schmaltzy ending. Like what made Prince act like that?
