Red Riding Hood

An imaginative version of the old folktale, directed by Harry Bailey and John Foster.
“In this version of the story, Grandma’s got more bite than the wolf! After drinking a magic “jazz tonic,” Grandma feels young again, and the fun begins. The wolf is astonished when he finds a flirtatious, smoking flapper at the house in the woods. He may be big and bad, but he can’t help falling in love. Do we hear the dinner bell or wedding bells? The wolf-Grandma wedding is halted at the last minute when the wolf’s wife gets wind of the ceremony. She and their many cubs – all carrying rolling pins – storm the church.”

Interesting cartoon featuring an alternate version of Red Riding Hood. Grandma runs off with the wolf lol.
What’s makes this more than interesting is the fact that the main characters clearly are Mickey Mouse replicants. Lord knows how long this was around before Walt shut these guys up.
