Pots and Pans is another Van Beuren cartoon that stars a couple of humans named Tom and Jerry, years before a certain cat-and-mouse team from MGM inherited those titles after the human ones disappeared. They run a train diner with their name on it. Many of the food have faces and move. They also sing with various customers along with the leading duo.
Molly Moo-Cow searches for a lost group of ducks, but instead finds herself rescuing an Indian baby who has fallen into and is floating down the river. The baby’s mother returns the favor, helping Molly rescue the missing ducks from becoming her husband’s dinner.
The first cartoon in a series of twelve with Toby the Pup. The series was produced by Charles Mintz 1930-1931 and distributed through RKO Radio Pictures. Toby works as a janitor in a museum and has his own way of handling the artifacts in the exhibition.
Four baby penguins stray away from their mother and stumble across a hunter’s cabin. Their curiosity gets them into trouble and they must be rescued by their mother.
Mr. Bang makes a bet that the Toonerville Trolley can’t get to the main train line on time. The bet is accepted without the knowledge of an upcoming tornado. Mr. Bang’s wife saves the trolley and her husband.
