Funny that the original magpies were man and wife; obviously they aren't Heckle and Jeckle. "The Little Flower" was a popular nickname given to Fiorello La Guardia, mayor of New York City. Fiorello is Italian for "little flower" and La Guardia was short of stature, so the name stuck. The film actually is quite amusing, featuring A dog that looks a lot like Gromit, and several radio personalities (I recognized the Bickersons and The Shadow). Still wondering about the ?Little Flower? refernce though. Also has a ?here we go again? bit, which I love.
